Can you please clarify your problems with Highlight. We can not tell what the problem is with this vague description.

For the effect timing, please check the effect time in the Effect Engine window. You need to scroll over to this if the window is the default size.

Record Selected ->again can you please be specific as to the problem. I do see a bug logged about using it with a non-standard fixture selection order, but I am un clear as to the problem you are seing.

With a bit more informaiton, I am sure we can provide a good timeline and or resolution to these problems.

Hey Amir. Regarding "record selected" are you talking about update using "selected"? This is logged as bug #8377 and basically doesn't work.

I start today a new show and the High/Low Pallets issue don't appear any more so it's probably something with a new show. the thing was that its work sometime and sometime not, and the time it was work its open the selected fixture with the fixture thet was before it in 50%, for example: fixture 3 selected and fixture 2 in 50% (acualy, if i think about this, that can be a good option to :) )

The record selected thing its a little more complicated, if i have some programing on stage and i select fixture 3 and change colour only to it and want to record that colour to pallete only for that fixture, so if i did this every time i select a different unit the pallete avilable for it.

Are you trying to record a color to a palette and have it apply only to the specific fixture? If so then when you go to record into the palette you need to select "per fixture" from the record toolbar (press more to get to "per fixture"). This will then record the color information into the palette only for the fixture(s) you are recording. You can instead select "per type" to record for all fixtures of that type, but not others.

Remember that by default all palettes (except position) will record as "global" unless you specify otherwise. This means those values will apply to any fixtures with the same paramter(s).

A quick related question...
Is there a way to change the 'default' to not being 'global' for a palette, or for a fixture type.
I'm working with a lot of different types of led fixtures, which it would be very cool to be able to make the color palette default 'per fixture' for the led's instead of having to remember to switch on 'per fixture' everytime i save the color for 1 of the led's...
Currently its very annoying when one of my guys fixes a color for 1 led and saves it without the 'per fixture'!

I like your suggestion and have logged enhancment #11119 about it. FYI if you make all your palettes per fixture from the beginning, then the problem will not occur when updating...

When you open an old show with version 2.2.2 you must select again High/Low light option for palettes.
