Hog2PC Disk Save

Try doing a full format on your floppies to check for bad areas on the disk.

your pre-existing show disks aren't write-protected, are they?

exact error messages are always more helpful.

do you have any problems saving to a hard drive and then manually copying show files onto a floppy?

Doing a full format sort of defeats the issue. I'm trying to save an edited show to the same disk I loaded from. I can save to a new, blank disk with out any problem. The disks are not write protected.

I hope you are doing well, it has been quite a while since we last spoke.

You say you are on a MacBook Pro via Bootcamp and Windows XP pro... Hog 2PC will estimate the amount of space required to write to the floppy, then it will look at the amount of disk space available. If it does not see enough space it will warn you. I am betting that because you are running through bootcamp that this is throwing off the esitmation and or calculation of available space.

I am not quite sure to tell you how to resolve this, but you can always save to your hard drive and copy to a floppy (assuming the show is not larger than 1 floppy).

Thanks Brad. Good to hear from you. It's really odd because I don't recall having this issue before. Even if I go to quit the program and it asks if I want to save the show. I say yes and it asks if it's OK to overwrite the existing show. I say yes again and get the same message.

Sure, I can save to the hard drive and dump from there or use new floppies each time. It's not that big a thing as I'm just doing this to clean up an existing show prior to seeing a real console and the rig. Or maybe I'll just borrow a HogII from Delicate.
