Rem Dim

I like your suggestion of Pig+Rem dim. It would definitely provide a quick way to isolate fixtures and then bring other fixtures back in once your edits were finished. There are a few logged enhancements and arguments for what Pig+Rem Dim might do in the future but obviously this is open for debate.

I would say that using custom highlight/lowlight might be helpful in this situation to simply effect intensity only, but the problem with that solution is that you might later want to use highlight to actually clear gobos and other parameters which would require you to change your highlight function.

I know what you mean. I intuitively held [PIG] + Rem Dim thinking that it would "reverse" the operation, but of course, I was wrong. I figure since allot of us as programmers are so use to using [PIG] to reverse certain commands its almost natural to think that [PIG] + Rem Dim is an available function. Guess we'll have to wait for the great debate in order to find out the fate of [PIG] + Rem Dim, but if you want my two cents it would be nice to have....

If there are already plans for Pig + RemDim, then how about doing this with Delete + Remdim?

Yeah...I use the OUT button all the time.

Instead of ("Fixture" @ 0 enter) you can just type ("Fixture" Out).
