importing / merging a patch from one show to another

Hi Folks:

I am setting up a new show on my Hog3PC, and i would LIKE to be able to import the patch from another show, to save rebuilding the entire thing. i have not (yet) been able to locate it in the manual, (thats not saying its not there, i just havent found it yet)

Can someone please enlighten me?

Maybe things have changed since this post.What about doing a backup of the show with correct patch and opening that backup and using that as the basis for the new show? not great but a start...hope i'm wrong on this post,

That sounds like at least a good starting point -- i have several shows that will be running at different times on the same rig and i hate to have to figure the patch out repeatedly

I fiddled with that yesterday a bit and it seems to work ok -- If anyone has a different / better solution, please let me know

Tim,

As you may have read in the thread that Cormac linked to, we do plan to implement functionality for importing fixture patch data. This is currently logged as feature request #4354.
