I noticed this a while ago, and mentioned it to Chris F. I was running my Powerbook at the time (with Virtual PC). The only way I could get my Mac to see the Hog3 file was to go into Virtual PC (where the PC would see the tar.gz without any issues), place it into a folder that resided in the Mac side - then locate the file whilst in OSX.

I see that the issue still exists with my new MacIntel Powerbook, running OSX 10.4.8. Do you see a folder with a 'No Entry' sign? (red circle with a white line through it).

    Best wishes,

    P

    That's exactly what I get.

    Bit of an annoyance.

If I remember correctly, look at the CD with 'Toast'. I think you can see the file - but can't do anything with it! Even worse!

Unfortunately, I'm still one of those folks without a Mac at home. I have a few in the lab and give you my word that I'll look into this next week when I'm back in the office.

My apologies for not responding to everyone sooner. It does look like we have some problems with readability of burned CDs on Macintosh computers. As Brad mentioned, this issue has already been logged.

    Thanks.
