Okay so I am one of many who has dealt with this but I will bring it up because I want to know.
Got a rig of Cyberlights. I'm doing Beam timing (yes I know it screws up mirror speed, duh).
Anyway, I usually just spin in a Global User Time to 15s for 2s xfade, 20s for a 3s xfade, etc. I would much prefer if HES has an updated Library profile which matches Global User Time to the actual time. Basically I want to be able to dial in 3.5s and get 3.5s.
This is especially important since I'm timecoding at timing needs to be accurate. The Stopwatch method of trial and error is just a pain in the ass. If anyone has ever done a proportion table, I would love it. Ya know... A table which says that if I want 'x' time actual, I should dial in 'y' on the Global Time.
I would use the Table in the back of the CB manual but it's not accurately matched.
