Guys, it's all the same version of the same software now. If we're lucky enough to have them add this, it would be for all three styles of the Hog3. This would be similar to using the GM + the I-wheel for the virual grand master, only for the individual faders.

That's true, but the i-wheel does not exist on the ipc, so having it in the software will not help :)

Ah yes, I forgot. Even though the there's an I-wheel on the Hog3, there is still an intensity parameter wheel, so I would think that the function would work on either.

Yes but the first encode is acting as "rate" when holding choose button.

but there are still 3 encoders left with no functionality during the choose button pressdown

I've added your comments to enhancement #6119. I've had a few discussions about functionality like this recently. It could be very useful to have a way to control intensity of virtual masters and playbacks assigned to the faderless masters on the full-sized expansion wing.

Tom, you probably have thought about several ways to implement that, but heres my idea anyway..
I havent seen the faderwing in action myself yet, but to this, maybe it would be an idea to "steal" the "flipmode" from the soundboy's digital consoles? most of the digital desks have a toggelbutton to switch "layers".. On the expansionwing it could be a toggle or hold button that swaps the location on the 20 ones with faders with the 20 ones without faders..

.. well, as i don't have seen the wing, but i expect that the only buttons exept the choose/play/etc is the page and pig button..
I would think it would be nice if it was a harbutton on the wing, and not a onscreen button, as i suspect you wan't to have quick acsess.. First idea(and most logically) would be something related to the page button, but pig+page is taken. and the other buttons are on the cnosole, so it owuld be a little hassle and a two hand operation.. Maybe a bit dangerous, but how about hold the page button for 2 sec.(or something) to "flip"(i'm not shure if page reacts on buttondown or buttonup atm-could be a problem)..

Another one would include the main choose button in some way(it's currently unused.) maybe mainchoose+page..that's atleast a little logical to me..
