I would bump this as more than an enhancement. Having errant nodes in the network list confuses maintenance personnel who are wondering, "How come this node is never online? Something must be broken."

The maintenance people actually look at the screen?

Enhancements aren't a lower priority for us. Classifying an entry in our database as a defect or an enhancement just lets the developers know whether we have existing functionality that is broken or whether we're looking to add something new. Since this specific request is to add the ability to remove unused nodes, which will involve adding components to the user interface, it's logged as an enhancement. All of the reasons for this being necessary and all of the hassles that unused nodes can cause are noted in the bug.

Are there any new developments with the ability to delete any unused DP's from the show? The biggest issue with it is that startup macros will not start for 10mins. I really don't mind the DP's being there, it's the start-up macros that I want to run.

This feature is complete and part of the software version coming with DP8000 later this summer.
