The model of external touchscreen that works with the Whole Hog 3 has been discontinued and a newer model is being manufactured. The problem is that this new model does not work with the Whole Hog 3. I am told that the software will be updated eventually to handle these new monitors. My question is when will this software upgrade take place.
We have a developer who is actively working on updating our drivers to support the new combo touchscreens and RoHS compliant touchscreens, but it is a fairly involved process. I don't know exactly when the development project will be complete or how long it will take us to test the new models.
Our sales team still has USB touchscreens in-stock that work with all of the Wholehog 3 products, so we can certainly still provide you with options that will work.
