Why do I have to have a working widget to see out put in Hog4 3.14?

This makes me so very angry that in 3.14, I could not figure out why my output window was not showing any cue information. Then I figured this stupid ETC lock was a big part of 3.14. What if I want to just work on a show without a widget hooked up, am I supposed to carry a DP8000 on an airplane if I need to program multiple universes?

Just map a sACN or ArtNet output to the corresponding universes... (You can delete it right after)

The processor has to be "activated" in order to show output. Adding a mapping will activate the DP

This had been by the way like ever... Output window data is feedback from the processor. So if no processor is found no output data, eg. if in older version you have patched to an external DP and this wasnt present you also dont get data or cue-feedback etc.
Adding visualizer stream might also be an option (did not try) as this should also activate the DP
