artnet and univers 0 with pathport octos

Just had a quick question. I am relatively new at this and picked up a couple of pathport octo's and am setting them up. I am outputting artnet but I noticed I can't start the ports on the pathport at universe 0. Should I just start my patching at universe 1 or is there a better way around this?

Hi there. Universe 1 on the Pathport should align to The Hog 4's art net subnet 0 and universe 0. It doesn't really matter what DMX universe you patch to. To keep things simple, I'd recommend patching your fixtures on universe 1, then setting the Art Net output for DMX universe 1 to be Subnet 0 and Universe 0.
