I believe you should be able to control as many as the console can handle. So 8 universes without any additional hardware or 1360 rgb fixtures / pixels
You're limited to the console's processing or the DP 8000's processing. So with a FUll Boar (12 total universes) and a DP 8000 (16 total universes) you get 28 universes of control. A generic RGB fixture takes 3 channels of DMX. It would be roughly 4760 RGB fixtures.
Should be yes, i did now a show with 1200 rgb fixtures with the pixel mapper (just on the Console). Sometimes the Full Boar crashed or the console freezed for a few seconds if i did some changes....
