Desktop crashes while ejecting USB drive

Can you wetransfer me a show file?

Same...
Pig backspace and restart the desktop will work.
Happens on some USB sticks but not others.
I'm running v3.11.0

Also how long do you wait before pulling the stick out or pushing the eject button?

Until the USB stick is no longer visible in file explorer.

@maeganw12 You should have an e-mail with that showfile right now in your postbox.
I just pulled out the stick a second or two after the copy process was finished.
When playing with the eject button for testing and recording the error video, I waited a few seconds more, before pressing it. I can't tell you exactly how long, I did not measured it with a stopwatch, but it was clearly below a half minute.

Windows identifies my USB Flashdrive as "Ut165 USB2FlashStorage USB Device" // Hardware ID: USBSTOR\DiskUt165___USB2FlashStorage0.00

How big is the backup?
Does this happen with every show file? Like if you launch a new show and backup the empty show file does it happen?

You mean the size of the flash drive? 1GB
I will check that, when I am in front of the console again.

Same behavior with a blank show. I tried then with a 128GB SanDisk Ultra USB3.0 drive, which did not had this issue. So it seems to be drive (or drives USB chipset, or so) dependent.

Do you know how much space is left on the drive? I couldn't get this to replicate here.

340MB of 960MB free, so 620MB are occupied according to my Windows 10 computer.
