Fader wing Labels

Yes!

You can "undock" the fader playback toolbar, and moove it to wherewher you want to! just use the mouse to click while dragging on the two vertical lines on the left side of the "toolbar"..You can do this on all other toolbars also, to moove things around in a way you like! You can "dock" them again by trying to place them on the top/bottom "edge" of 2-4 main Hog3pc windows.

Anders is correct. There should be a handle at the left edge of the wing's playback bar that you can grab to undock the bar and drag it to a different place on the screen. You should be able to dock and stack the bars at the bottom of any of your screens.

I've tried doing this as well. After trying and trying, you finally convince the toolbar to "dock" in the right place, on the monitor of your choice. However, the next time you boot up, (i.e. after a famous b1618 crash, or normal boot up) all is forgotten. Should this info not be stored in the showfile somehow?

Playback bar positions should be saved and recalled properly for any playback bar other than the main bar for masters 1-10. The main playback bar is always forced to the bottom of the left touch screen.

Can you describe what you mean as a "famous b1618 crash"? There's a repeatable crash in v2.2.0 that we fixed in today's release, but there aren't any easily repeatable crashes that were new to v2.1, as far as I'm aware.

I believe my crashing issue may be related to the "enter button" bug. Is this fixed in the new release? I'm currently iPC Hog3 2.1.0.1618, (from the last XPe image) two wings, 3rd touchscreen, on a file kindly converted from Hog2 by Brad S. Enough info transferred to convince me not to start from scratch. Seems I need to be "pixel perfect" when trying to dock the fader toolbars. Many of my crashes happened when i was updating color palettes from CMY to HS, but at random programming times as well. In regards to the updating, I had to do a lot of fixing of the Studio Beams due to the fact that the solid colors at the end of the C, M, and Y wheels threw off the values during the conversion. I'd use the color picker to get the colors back, and would try to update the palette. When I would re-select the palette, the old (wrong) color was still there. I repeated the process, and it would then update, but the color info would be wiped out of the cue completely. Curious.... Software, programmer, or conversion issue do ya think?

I have my playback wing docked on an external monitor and the only time it ever changes is if I start a "new" show. If I load my existing show, it's always in the same place.

since this thread is already up and running can tom clarify if the "enter" bug on IPC is still available or has it been discontinued...downloading latest software as we speak.

the enter bug is fixed in the new release..

-The release notes is very nice, and should be interresting reading for everybody who wants to keep updated on what has been fixed in the releases ;)

Anders is correct. The "enter" bug has been fixed in our latest software release.

Patrick - There are a couple of things that could be happening with your Studio Beam palettes. First, open the palette in an editor and make sure that you see the correct data for the proper fixtures and groups. Second, remember that if the cues are only using the palette for certain parameters, adding other parameters to the palette isn't going to add that information to the cues. Check your cues to see if they're referencing the palettes for the proper parameters.
