It would be really nice if the "temporary" function of the "Scale Rates/Size" Parameters at the Playback Options get upgraded by a "Latch" function.
One example: If I set a button to "effect rate set 0x" the effects halts. To continue the effect I have to set the previous value by hand with the fader. Without motor faders you even have to slide down to zero first, to attach the fader to the masters value again. With activated temporary function you can halt the effect with pressing the button and when releasing it, the effect continues working with the previous level. With a additional latching function you could go one step further so that the previous level would be set back not before a second key press, which keeps your hand free for other working in the meantime. In this case the " Effect Rate Set 0x" button would work like an effect start and stop button.
