We have recently become aware of a few issues that snuck their way into our filter code. We have also been seeing random filter life out errors on our fixtures here in the office, and we are working to resolve them for the upcoming release, due out not too long from now.
For now, you may want to check the internal filters on the projector. If you take off the bottom cover of the fixture (the cover on the opposite side of the large hepa filter), you will see a small, flat tool screwed to the frame of the head on the left side toward the front of the unit. This is a filter removal tool for the projector filters. Loosen the screws that hold it down and you will be able to slide it off.
Right next to the filter tool you will see two small slits in the frame. The projector filters are in these slits. Use the tool to grab the filters and pull them out. Clean these and put them back in. You can simply brush them off with a towel, or use a little water. Just make sure they a completely dry before putting them back in If these filters are dirty, they will cause the projector to run hot, which can give off the error you are seeing.
