Reassign master flash key

Hi, is it possible to re-assign the flash button on a physical master? So you can have the fader control the intensity of a fixture, but the flash button like a strobe for the fixture.

Yes, all keys on a master can be reassigned to fit various uses. make sure to keep your software up to date to make sure you have all the features.

    To do this

    [1] [@] [Full] [Record] [cue] [1]
    [1] [@] [Full], Strobe at 10Hz [Record] [Cue] [2]
Under the fader options, set the flash key to "go on flash" and "release on off" This can be found by double pressing choose on the master and "options/standard"
Set the release time to 0 seconds
EDIT: Hold [Choose] and make the Fader HTP.
    Hope this helps!

    Thanks,
but when i press the flash button, it goes to the next cue and when i release the button it releases the cue. And the stage goes to black.
Is this right, or am i doing something wrong? XD
(I want to get something like the command keys)

Or what you could do... to make it an On/off
    [1] [@] [Full] [Record] [cue] [1]
    [1] [@] [Full], Strobe at 10Hz [Record] [Cue] [2]
Under the fader options, set the flash key to "go" and This can be found by double pressing choose on the master and "options/standard"
Hold [Choose] and make the Fader HTP.

When I want to apply something like a dimmer effect to that fixture. Can I still control it with that intensity fader? Because I want to control the intensity of the fixture with the fader and the effects with the same fader.

    Hello,

Yes this is possible but will require some more complex programming

    [1] [thru] [10] [@] [Full] [Time] [0] [Record] [Choose] (Cue1)
    [Clear]
    [Record] [Enter] (Cue 2)
    [Record] [Enter] (Cue 3)
    [Record] [Enter] (Cue4)

    Under the fader options, set
Go key to GoTo (Cue 1)
Pause key to GoTo (Cue 2)
Back key to GoTo (Cue 3)
Flash key to GoTo (Cue 4)
Hold [Choose] and make the Fader HTP.

For Cue 1 assign a comment macro for GS1 (Go Scene 1)
For Cue 2 assign a comment macro for GS2 (Go Scene 2)
For Cue 3 assign a comment macro for GS3 (Go Scene 3)
For Cue 4 assign a comment macro for GS4 (Go Scene 4)

Create an intensity effect Record Scene 1
Create an intensity effect Record Scene 2
Create an intensity effect Record Scene 3
    Fixtures Strobe @ 10hz Record Scene 4

Set the "Action at end of scene" to "Add release end cue",
Set the release time to 0 seconds for the 4 scenes.
    [Scene] [1] [Thru] [4] [Time] [0]

If you want to control the Effect size and scale, you can make a batch.

I have made a showfile with this done that you can download (Note it will only load on 3.9.0 and above).
