Hi, I'm starting to use plots and the pixel mapping function, but I cannot seem to control fixtures that have RGB only channels, and CMY fixtures. Is there some way to have both types of fixtures attributes get assigned to the same layer? Should I repatch my CMY to be RGB or vice versa?
It is possible to mix RG and CMY in one plot. The HOG internally only works with CMY. So which fixtures are you using? What are your settings to the plot? RGB? CMYI? RGB only channels, eg a 3 ch LED can bue patched a generic LED. Will give you virtual intensity and color control via CMY.
I tried CMYI on the plot and they are all now groupable in the layer and appear to be mapping now. I am using generic RGB cells for most everything except for some Elation Sixpar 200's. The syntax to access the pixel map layers is clunky, but I am getting the hang of it.
