Backup on CD

Hi,
when I try to access a CD burnt on a Wholehog on my Macintosh notebook (running MacOS X), the access is denied so I cannot copy shows to my harddisk. I guess it mast have sth to do with file owner/permissions, because on a Windows PC I can access these CDs. How do I work this around??

Hi,

is the logo of the file marked with a security lock ? If so, Select info in the mac finder on the file (right mouse button or apple+i) then in the general tab, have a look it the "Locked" checkbox is checked. If, uncheck it, it should work then.

That is the case if I copy a file to a memory stick, and want to delete if afterwards on the Mac. The shows are locked.

No, this is not the case. The CD has a folder icon (instead of a CD icon), with a little 'forbidden' sign, and I cannot see any files inside!

Okay that's strange somehow.

I guess the Hog3 / iPC will burn the CD in ISO-9600 format which is readable by all other operating systems.
Maybe the burn did not work right ?
