How do I change the size of the font, buttons, and everything on an external display? I just upgraded to OS 3.9 and the font size on our external monitor is really small, whereas it wasn't before the upgrade.
Lot of changes in the new 3.9 release regarding graphics. Maybe in prior versions your monitor was not driven in full resolution. You might use a scaled smaller resolution.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't help. It did make the windows a bit bigger, but the font size stayed just as small and the monitor looked blurry. Even with a restart, the problem still happens. And, I had to restart after changing back to the old resolution to get it to work right. Any other suggestions?
I'm experiencing something like this on my Rackhog. I have it connected to a very crappy Raloy rackmount monitor/keyboard. I suspect that this is due to bad or missing EDID data during bootup and X11 (or Qt) is making the wrong decision about display properties.
