EFX Stop

I Just Finished quite a large arena event with tons of updates changes and EFX, but here is a question,
When I want an effect to stop by putting it in the focus I want (by) grabbing the lights + the position then clear, the effect will keep running ? unless I record STATE ? is there a better quicker way?
Next one , if I have 2 consoles on the network why won't the clocks synk >

Are you editing an already existing list or recording new cues?

There is no time so I have to lay out the cue's from the show flow then edit by updating , using the update button
things go very fast and they have no patients.

I have another question if I need 50+ universes of Streaming Ecn would I connect all DP8k's to super node
it's a S400 PRG rig

Just connect all fixturenet ports to a switch and you are done
Configure each DP8K to send the matching universes

About the other other issue:

Use merge instead of the auto update and check your kind masks.

I always build 4 Effects templates. Effect 101 - Int Efx "OFF" / Effect 102 - Pos Efx "OFF" / Effect 103 - Color Efx "OFF" / Effect 104 - Beam Efx "OFF"....

That way I can always select fixtures, "Effect 101" and then a position palette. Then I can merge in (and be sure to mask in "EFFECTS" to make sure it takes it). I haven't tried using that sequence with "Update" - In "theory" it should work because I've put it in the programmer, but again, my keystroke flow is so engrained, I haven't tried changing my flow.
