Directory toolbar in Plots

I can store views with the toolbar hidden for most directories, but for plots it doesn't seem to work properly. I can store the view, but if I then open a plot with the toolbar open, when I return to my saved view it's there again.
Could we change this please?

Further to this, I've discovered that the plot directory doesn't recall properly either from views. I include the plot window in my view, and close the directory and plot directory toolbars, but the plot directory bar always comes back when I recall the view.

Thanks for bringing this up again. I reported this one in 2015 and it's logged as defect 2620.
