Letters next to Users?

I figured out what the X next to a User name is. What does the R and the L mean? Where is this info in the manual?

L = Local user (logged into the visible desktop)
R = remote user (part of the show on a remote node)
X = not part of the show

So would Local mean from the server console and Remote meaning Client?
