intensity efx

Hello, I'm new to this site. I just bought a nano console. I want to create a variety of efx. My question is... How can I make a intensity efx by electric? I will like all of my led pars to chase by electrics. I have 4 electrics with 5 led pars on each batten. A sine wave from down stage to up stage. Is this possible?

Not 100% sure but try this :

Make a group palette for the pars on each electric. When you come to write the effect in the effect engine, select the pars using the groups in the order you want the effect to run then apply the sine function.

How many electrics (for the math)....

For 4 electrics...
Make 3 groups (1 for each electric)
Select the groups...apply the effects and make it how you want it to look (rate/size)
Select group 2 - change offset to 90
Select group 3 - change offset to 180
Select group 4 - change offset to 270

It will now chase per electric.

Works also without making groups, buddying and grouping is your friend.
Buddying set to 5 will make an up/downstage, grouping of 5 will make a stage left/right effect.

^But buddying/grouping will only work if the fixture numbers are arranged logically

Simon, buddying and grouping works always in the order of fixture-selection. Has nothing to do with the fixturenumbers or their logical arrangement.

when i select 101, 205, 307, 1046, 1, 812 and do a grouping of 2 the fixtures 101, 307, 1 are getting the same values and so are 205, 1046, 812... Completly random selection and arrangend free.
