Fixture Builder - Strobe Rate Bug?

ArnieCeArnieCe Registered User
When building new fixtures (or copy from existing ones) it's not possible to assign decimal strobe rates.

For example: The library for VL3500 Spot has different strobe ranges. If one creates a new fixture by "Copy From", there are different entries for DMX channel 17. One of them is [Strobe] [Rate] [13>240] [0.1>13Hz]. But one cannot enter these values manually. Only whole numers (e.g. 1>13Hz) will be accepted.

Is there a reason for that? Or is it a bug?

The same is happing on the timing channels of the VL3000 ranges. According to the manual you can have 0.2 sec, 0.4 sec. ect ect. If you type in these values the right dmx value will sent but on the encoder wheel you will see only the whole value like 1, 2, 3, ect ect.
