Effect delay

I've used a 2800 LED Pixel plot with Hog4 3.3.1.
There was a 6 through 8 second delay when selecting fixtures and using the command : Effect @ "Red" thru "Blue" Enter. Is this normal?

In the plot window yes... This is know... during playback and in the output it should be fine

A work around is to make the selection of the fixtures, then close the open plot. This will remove the lag out of the UI
