Release in black

I'm always struggeling with the following:

I have a list running with my desired look (list 1).
I want to highlite a specific area so i got a 2nd list on a fader with some fixtures in open Gobo with no color.
I fade them out, move in black (by hitting go on the 2nd list)... The list is running.
When the scenery is done i release the list. Now the fixtures move back in to the look of list 1.

But i rather want the fixtures to move in black while releasing the list.

I always do workarounds to achieve that.

Would be great to get an option for that.
What u think?

Automate the steps you want in List 2.

Q1: fade the fixtures you want to 0 int with 2 sec fade time/0 delay. Change Gobo,position, and color with 0 fade/2 sec delay.
Q2: Intensity up with 2 sec fade
Q3: Intensity at 0%, 2 sec fade/0 delay. List 1 position 0s fade/2s delay
Q4: Blank, command macro RL2 (Will release List 2), Wait: Follow

Make sure List 1 will persist on override.

workarounds like that is what i use.
But i'm fixed to my programming in this case.
What if not list 1 is running?
I guess this is not hard to implement from HES and i find it very useful.
Don't u think?

An even better way i think is to get macros that releases features e.g 'release position', 'release color' etc.

I guess I don't really understand what you are trying to do.

This list will also work if list 1 isn't working. 1 click and it'll assert. 2nd click it'll release itself.
I do stuff like this to make specials (e.g. drum solo, Audience blinders, etc)

If i program list 2 the way u suggested the the fixtures go back to the position of list 1 before list 2 is released.
But if i have list 3 running instead of list 1 the fixtures would go to the position of list 1 as well. My intension is to be able to release certain features (e.g position) no matter what list/cue is running in the background.
