Artnet in Request: From Selection

Would be VERY helpful (especially in a Road House like ours) when an LD comes in and only wants the rig, but not the architectural items…to be able to select fixtures and press "ARTNET IN."
That way we don't have to go through the DMX window, cell by cell, line by line and select. Would also make changeovers between opening acts and headliners much simpler.
Run opener on house Roadhog…
Intermission…
Select Rig…"Artnet in from selection" button…done.

In your case select fixtues, Touch > ArtNet In
Could be really flexible. What do you think?
Would be extremely flexible for what we can give them (or not give them when they're being stubborn).
And the ability for making htp merge on the artnet in. So that you still can take over several parameters.
I like coins idea tho. It would make the proccess easy
Everything in the DMX window is touchscreen based touches and therefore less than robust.
Selecting universe is a pull down. Not fun making a macro out of that.
Plus, selecting every cell of a universe is flaky. Clicking and dragging on a touchscreen doesn't record into the macro. So you have to make sure the slider is all the way up in the window, select (touch) the first parameter then pig +arrow down ALL the way to 512. THEN change the universe and do all of this for each universe/dp.
And if you edit the timing to be to fast, it won't execute at all. So to change 8 universes from Hog net in to Artnet in, the macro is usually 10 seconds to run each way. This is an eternity when swapping control from one desk type to another.
I would really like to see some type of keystroke based commands or shortcut select all options in the DMX window.
This could work in a similar way to how we use Plots when we pixelmap fixtures.
