Feedback on motorized faders, fade macro's

Is it possible to stop a fade macro if the fader is touched or moved? I know these aren't haptic, but when met with resistance there has to be a way to override it.

Alternately, if I have fade macro's in two concurrent cues, and I need to punch through cues faster than the speed set on the fade macro, they will sit there and fight each other causing the intensities of the fixtures to bounce around. Is there a way to manage that?
