It would be cool to be able to record directly to command keys. I get that the requirement to move cues/groups/palettes/etc onto the command keys is because there's so much flexibility in what the command keys can be. But what if you could hit record, then an empty command key (or cell in the commands directory), and the desk would prompt you to indicate what you wanted to create: cuelist/group/palette/etc. I'm picturing it working like recording cues onto playbacks. Thoughts?
