Hedgehog4 harddrive

Hey Guys,

I am curious if anyone else has had a hard drive die in a hedgehog? I was on a show and shut the console down went to restart the following day and get an error message about the networking settings not found and the console would not boot... I went do a console restore and the console gives me an error that there is no valid hog operating system found and stops the install....

Anyone else had this happen?

Check the SATA connector on the SSD.

The SSD in a Hedgehog is very small and just the size of ca. 3x3cm, with very tiny connectors.
    Might be a loose connector

I had one disconnected right out of the box. It must have come loose in shipping.

Also, check to ensure you don't have any other bootable media plugged into the console like a USB stick. The console could just be booting to the wrong device. The network settings error was more than likely actually related to problems with X server not able to get the screen configuration right. Were you working with external VGA or DVI monitors the day it died?
