BUG - Led CMY Intensity Dips between lists (specific conditions)

Full Boar 4 (3.1.0. b1078).

To Repro

Put RGB Led fixture (tested with all size Color Forces and TRX Color Blasts) in a CMY color, intensity at 80%. Record on a new list, fader 10. Also Record on another new list, fader 9. PLAY on fader 10. Play on fader 9. Intensity will sharply dip and then fade back up to 80%. Same when going back to fader 10. Seems to be releasing the stomped fader quicker than the new one is fading up, but only for intensity.

Notes:
*cues are exactly the same so when stomping and releasing each other, there shouldn't be any discernible change. It WILL, however, behave as expected if both cues have intensity at 100%.
*Doesn't seem to exhibit this bug if color was created with HSI.
*Same behavior with internal vs. external DP
*Didn't get same bug with Martin Viper performance, Mac Aura, Desk Channel profiles.
*Setting both cues to 0s fade also avoids bug.

I've been seeing this for YEARS…all the way back to Hog 3 days. Back then I was told it was due to the using CMY mode and there was nothing that could be done.

Thanks Jon, I tried searching the forums for previous postings, but I never have any luck using search with these new forum. Standard search tools like: "" and + don't work and I can't seem to limit results to specific categories.

The weird thing is that it only seemed to do this on RGB LED fixtures, not any of the CMY movers I was using. That tells me it should be fixable, maybe a fixture profile tweak?

I have recently switched from using HSI to CMY because I wasn't a fan of the unpredictible paths lights would take when changing colors. Looks like CMY isn't perfect either.

No it ONLY does it to LED fixtures…in CMY mode. Never had the issue with movers…and that's why I was confused. I've always used CMY because of the path of HSI…

Like I said…I've seen it…and always had issues trying to describe it…and how it happens. Now that you have a procedure, maybe it can get fixed. As long as your LEDs are at full, it's fine…it seems to only show up with intensity other than full.

It has something to do with the virtual intensity.
All the fixtures you mentioned have real intensity channels
