I am trying to create a strobe effect using the effect engine. I want fixtures to step from open, to strobing at 5k, in groups / buddies. I can't seem to get a step based effect to work as I would expect, but only with the strobe. Seems to be specific to HES fixtures. I was able to easily do it with a Mac 700 but can't make it work with an intellaspot, cyberlight, etc.
I obviously can make this happen with a chase, but want an FX for this.
Any advise
