Mixing Blue and Black Widgets with Hog4PC?

Quick question--I'm spec'ing a system right now with a single DMX universe. Currently I'm opting for a blue Hog3PC widget for simple affordability, but there's the question of future expansion to additional universes. Would I be able to have the blue widget in operation alongside one or more black Hog4PC widgets without any issues?

Computer OS is going to be Win 8.1, if that matters at all.

Yes, the H3 (blue widgets) will work just fine with the H4 (black widgets).

NOTE!
Not all of the blue widgets were upgraded to work with hog 3/4 software.
(if you are buying used)
Make sure the widget in question has the silver oval around the dmx port. that panel is supposed to be replaced when the widget is upgraded.

Upgrading from H2 to H3/4 doesnt mean to have a hardware change to be done!!!
Upgrading can be done via a software-upgrade
You only need to purchase a key from your HES dealer
