Is there a way to default the color cue tab in the cue list window ? yes i know right click at the top of the list , but it defaults back to not being there. So what I am say is there away to have the color permanent ?

Do you mean the "colour" Column in the "Cuelist Directory" while in spreadsheet view?
Do you open the "Cuelist Directory" by pressing "List" twice or "Open + List" ?
Or do you open the "Cuelist Directory" by recalling a view?

If you recall a view it opens the directory at exact the same way you recorded the view. (with guard enabled or not, button size and colour in grid view, and so on...

If you open the cuelist directory by pressing List twice or open + list it should open the same way you last closed it.

By the way I open the cue list in spreadsheet view with commands

    You open it with commands.
So you assign a view to a command and recall the view by pressing the function key if I understand you correctly.
Try re-recording the view while the list directory looks the way you want it.
Then it should recall exactly the same.

You can also recall views by pressing open + 0 (thru 9) You don't need a function key. (but you can do it with function keys if you want to offcourse)

I know the Open 0> 9 I just find it quicker recalling a view with commands one button .

Thanks for the info, I have been pushing for the cue list tab in the left window to have the same color as in lists
but has not happened so far?

Color coding of list on the playback bar is something we have logged.
