Only have partial control over Chauvet fixtures

Hello, I'm very new to all this so please be kind!
I'm using some Chauvet Intimidator Spot LED 360 moving heads connected to Hog 4 pc on windows 8.1 with the Hog super widget using a 3-pin to 5-pin dmx cable adapter. I have my lights patched in, and I can pan and tilt them, as well as change gobos and colors, however I can't seem to actually strike the bulb. Changing the "Intensity" value does nothing, and although I have seen a "Strike Bulb" option in some Hog 4 pc tutorials, the option does not appear in the program for me. The LED is working fine, as whenever I disconnect from the Widget and manually put the light in one of the preset modes it lights right up and begins to work.

Again, I'm very new to this so I may very well be missing something simple and obvious, but I would really appreciate any insight!

Thank you!

Make sure the shutter is open from the console. If it is LED you should not need to strike the lamp, striking is for arc source lamps.

The shutter is wide open, I can look down the barrel of the light and see the LED through the lens.

I would make sure you have the correct fixture mode patched into the Hog.
