I am pretty sure I already know the answer to this question however I felt I needed to canvas the forum just to be 100%.
I recently purchased a LTC widget for the purpose of running it through HOGPc4. what I didn't take into consideration was I didn't know what an LTC widget did. Ultimately, I wanted to control my 5R's through this set up but I feel I purchased the wrong widget. I understand now that LTC stands for linear timecode and it is a midi type widget but I don't know much else. what I want to know most is will it control my lighting fixtures or will I need to purchase the DMX widget? everything in me tells me I made the wrong purchase but if this true then what exactly does the LTC widget do??
