It would be really nice if there is a a 'save as' funtion for your show. The only way I know now is to copy - paste - rename a show. Simply hitting a 'save as' button would make this a lot
You can also make a backup and unfold the backup again (it wil ask you to name the show when you unfold the backup) I have been doubting to ask for the possibility to "lock" a template show. So I can add stuff to the template but I can not overwrite the template easily without a second step. But I've been using the backup method instead and it works good.
Why you dont just enter a new file name when using the backup function?! Then when loading from the backup you will get direct the new name.... Thats like save as....
True, but if a 'save as' function worked in the same way as Windows, you could 'save as' and it would change the name on disk and also the name of the show in memory, without having to log off/retrieve backup etc
Got it, guess it is not possible to change the name of the actual show... Image a multiconsole-setup with several servers, clients etc... Would cause confusion when one server console saves the show under another name and all the other server-consoles and DPs will have another show running...
