Led fade in problem

dennisvanderhavedennisvanderhave Registered User
Good day,

I've got a problem with some elation ePar Qwash. Total i have 16 led par's.
I have made 1 list with some color's for example : 16 led par all blue,green,orange....

And i have made 1 list with just 8 led pars that have the same colours. This is a chase that is going over the main list.

When it's going as a hard chase this works just perfectly. But when i make it some slower something strange is happening. Because at the end of the chase the fade out time looks shorter than the fade in time. So it's looks like it's jumping back to the original colour instead of fading. because of this the whole chase looks like it have a strobe in it every cue.

I hope that someone of you can help me. And that you understand my problem.

Thank you,

Greets,

Dennis

Activate "Track thru loops" in the cue list options.

Sorry I oversaw that you are using 2 lists....

So you put in a colour on all 16 fixtures, then start the chase for those 8 fixtures.

Is it bumping to the colour of your main list or to the first colour of your chase?

Which software version are you using

Just tried with some generic RGB-LED fixtures and it works normal

What are your cuelist settings? HTP/override etc...

On my LEDS I have the option to mix color two ways, #1 is Intensity and color palette. #2 is Colour button and using dials for RGB mix. If I have a mix of both ways on cues within a submaster than I get strange results. So I try to program consistently using one or the other. this has smoothed out color changes. Also keeping colors from shifting abruptly or going to white.
