Its a bit inconsistent, but I have been able to "Overpatch" a universe. Just finished patching for PreViz and I noticed that a couple times, the last fixture "overran" the actual universe so that the back end of the DMX footprint was cutoff.
Not sure, I just noticed when I was patching today that 2 or 3 times out of 8 universes that a few fixtures overan Dmx address 512. The profiles were the standard Sharpy, Alpha Profile 1500 Standard, and the A.leda 20 standard.
