Opened a new H4 show cloned in my current H3 show so its now a H4 show file

But I have noticed if i add new fixtures to the show I cant use effects I created on the H3 these are only available to the cloned in fixtures not the new fixtures added to the show.

Why is this? how can i fix it

Mark :headbang:

    Efx are always per fixture...
Only the table-efx given by the console are global.
This would also happen if you add new fixtures in Hog 3

There will be a rework of the EFX Enginge in an upcoming version.
V2 will already bring some new stuff to the EFX engine, but the whole new EFX engine wont be in V2

    Hey Mark,
One way to work around this is to pig>copy the fixtures within the f/x.
    So for example
    effect 50 open
    101 thru 103 pig copy fixture 150 thru 180
    enter
    update

Not perfect especially for more specific fixture effects but works for some.

I suppose if you wanted to get smart.
A simple Macro could automate the process,

    Pig>copy fixture group "x" fixture group "y" +
    all other required commands.

    X being 101-103
    Y being 150-180
