USB Midi Controller not recognized in Hog 4pc

I haven't played with midi on XP, but it's fairly straight forward on 7 and 8

- Do you definitely have the midi drivers installed?

- Are you using a midi intertface or usb direct to the computer?

Yes I have the midi drivers installed and windows recognizes the device (Korg NanoKey2). It is USB plugged into the USB port. Also the Korg Kontrol Editor also sees that the device is connected. But when I go into the Hog 4pc and click on the midi tab in the control panel window, their is nothing in the drop down menu to select.

Restarted Hog 4pc. Now it shows in the drop down.

So frustrated trying to make this work. I have followed all the instructions in the owners manual for using Midi Notes. I have assigned the midi - usb device in the control panel input and output drop down menu. Hog 4pc sees it and it is selected. Then I go into network and click settings. Then I click Midi Notes. Check Enable Midi Notes In Midi Channel 1 and select Comment Macro's from the drop down. Then I click the button next to the drop down menu and enter the macro GL242/1 (go cuelist 242 cue 1). Then I click ok to close that window. Then I click the Apply button on the Console Settings Window and midi channel 1 switches back to unnassigned.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong here?

Is this with a new H4 show or a H3 show imported into H4?
What version of H4 software are you using?

Was originally on H3 and imported to H4 as soon as it came out.

Does that make any difference?

Hog 4pc version is 1-0-0-304

Please upgrade your 4PC to 1.2.1 b550.
We had a bug in 1.0.0 that would done what you are seeing if a H3 show was launched in H4.
Once you upgrade this problem should go away.
