Midi Keyboard for triggering flash buttons

Hi All

I wan't to use a midi (usb) keyboard for triggering flashbuttons. I want to trigger al flashbuttons of a 2nd playback bar but are there and midi keyboards in which you can map the fixed notes of the Hog. So the first 10 keys on the keyboard are my 10 flashbuttons.

I'm assuming this works on Hog4PC to my knowledge only encoders, wheels, faders are disabled in Hog4PC.

Here you can define your keys to your needs.
Only select the midi-channel in the hog-software to the playback you want...
Adjust your midi-notes on the triggerboard and go....

I haven't utilized mine for flash-buttons, but the same theory applies.
I use an Ableton Launch Pad as a "poor-man's-programming wing." The LauchPad will work with HogPC but NOT with a console. www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=654672&Q=&is=REG&A=details

I've updated it to Hog4's layout.

This has something to do with the driver.

If you use a USB class midi device then it works also with a console
I think the Ableton Pad needs a special driver, or?

Correct, the Ableton Pad requires a driver as it is a (excuse my lack of proper terminology) a "MIDI over USB" device.

It has nothing to do with USB or not, it is depending on the device
There are USB Midi devices available that dont require any special driver.
These are all driven by the USB midi class device driver
