Change type issue

LeggyLeggy Registered User, Hog Beta
Original show programmed on Hog4PC, v1.1.3

Show contained pixel pars.

Moved onto Hog4, v1.2.0

Changed type to RGB LED.

No output to fixtures.

Much cursing as we try to fix seemingly broken lights.

Added another RGB LED as a new fixture, and now the swapped fixtures work as expected.

:dunno:

Leggy.

    sorry for the late reply!
Do you still have a copy of the show before you added an extra led?
Was the DMX window reporting values?

    No problem!

I have a copy of the show from before Changing Type, but not from when I was having the problem. I can send you that if you like.

The Levels window was showing output.

I looked at this today and was having no trouble changing type from the par to generic rgb leds.

Was the DMX Window/ Leves Window and Output Window correct?
Was it just DMX to the units that was bad?

    Michael,

Levels window was showing correct output, but the fixtures were not responding.

Unfortunately we didn't have a dmxster to check the output, but we did try several different fixtures at the same address. The moment I patched the new RGB LED the swapped ones started working.
