First: thank you for this update, it is really great.
Nevertheless there are some points where I have a few requests:
command keys:
This new tool is really good, but I find it cumbersome in programming.
For recorded in a strob command keys I must:
- Make the desired strobe on my fixtures
- Recorded in a cuelist
- Move my cuelist on a command keys
- Open + Command keys to open the command keys windows
- Select the spreadshit view
- Select the desired "Action"
..... Is not that a little bit cumber?
why not:
- Make the desired strobe on my fixtures
- Record -> command keys 1 (Directly on the pad): to record and assign the strobe in the command keys 1
- Open + Pig + command keys 1 (on the pad): to open the list option
- Select a tab that could be called "command"
- Select the desired "Action"
We win a single action on the console, but you can not find the most logical because it look like how to record and edit option of a cuelist on playback?
New encoder wheel button function:
Unless I am mistaken, this function is the same as Pig + encoder?
So this applies to 16-bit functions such as pan / panfine etc ...
In fact I expect that this function "slow down" speed of the encoder.
I thought I could make use of this function for a media server: It is often difficult to choose a media file because encoder will scroll too fast, but as is the 8-bit this new feature can be applied. Same for the Keystones or other functions.
It will be very cool if we could "slow down" encoder speed for 8-bits parameters, no?
Am I clear?
Obviously this is just my feeling, maybe I'm the only one with these little discomfort...
