Odd question for a Client/Server Setup

I am trying to do some automation on a Hog 3 and can't quite get it (unless I'm missing something obvious).

Setup:
Hog3PC as server
DP8000
Hog 3 as client

The Hog3PC stays on ALL the time and running for clock functions, etc.

What I'm trying to do is set the Hog 3 when it logs into the show to change pages, recall a view, etc. using the startup macro. However, when I log into the existing show (as a client) the startup macro does not run.

Thoughts???

Startup macros only works on consoles with server (afaik), cause if you log in as a client it is only a "remote", cause the show is already running and not starting up... So no startup macro...

Well...Damn...that sucks.

In that case, the field should be greyed out when logging in as a client rather than just ignoring the field.

Anyone from High End??? Thoughts???

What would happen if you were running both the PC and the Hog 3 as servers?

I think it might happen the same when both are servers. Cause you´re logging into a running show....
So the show is not started and then no startup macro is fired....

Same thing happens in dual server mode...

So, I'm at a loss on what to do. Hopefully someone at High End will chime in soon.
