Hog3 IO Processor

I know I've heard rumor that the rackmount ethernet IO Processor is not supported by Hog4. Is it possible to get an absolute on that from HES? That it is not supported and will never be?

You are correct, the IOP will not work with the H4OS.
You can hook up a TC widget to the DP8K as a solution to "over the network" TC.
