Video File Backup

Good day! I have an Axon server I have been trying to transfer the video files off of to make a backup of the files we are using.

In using the CMA, I've used drop and drag, copy and paste, all sorts of ways to transfer the files off. Every time I try something, it crashes the CMA.

I've tried this with a CMA on Windows 7, and the CMA on the Axon itself. No Change.

Does anyone know any other way? Please let me know. Thanks and take care!

There is a very old issue with CMA in certain situations.....
Change your view in CMA from the default "details" to any one of the "thumbnail" views.....you should now be able to drag-n-drop or Copy + Paste with no problems....you can change back to "details" again after this if you like.
I have no idea WHY this works.....only that it does.....

Thanks Marty! I did switch to Icons, but the only way I was able to get them files off was to copy and paste to the Desktop only. If I tried copying to a folder or anywhere else, it crashed.

Thanks for the insight. I would have never thought to switch.

Anyone from High End able to give some idea if this can be fixed?
