Moving LED Profiles Wanted

I've tried to work with that program. It's very limited on what OP Systems it works on, and does not work on Windows 7 which is the op that we are running at our church.

I'm willing to pay to get these made!

- for info -> it is possible to write new functions but be carefully

I am new to programming and am looking for fully functioning profiles for the following fixtures:

Chauvet Qspot 260 (Advanced Mode/14ch)
Chauvet Color Strips

I am behind on this project and cannot move forward until I get these working. I appreciate any light anyone can shed on this. I know someone out there has to know someone who uses these gems ;) lol. Also, the console I am using is a Jands 1000/Hog 2 (same syntax) if that is any help.

The easiest thing to do is use this program: www.lightingapps.de/index.php/software/libgen

You can create the fixture profile for the console's lib file.

You'll need a Windows computer with a floppy drive, or have an external floppy available to use.

With the program you follow exactly the fixtures personality. Channel 1 green, etc... it's fairly simple to follow.

Then you copy that and paste it into your lib file. (remember to change the fixture count)!

For the Q Spot Profile It will look something like so:

Channel = pan

Channel = upan

Channel = tilt

Channel = utilt

Channel = speed

Channel = color

Channel = gobo

Channel = gobo2

Channel = gobo

Channel = prism

Channel = focus

Channel = dimmer

Channel = strobe

Channel = control


Not exactly like that, but those are the channels for the advance mode. You'll need to include the channel levels.

For the color strip

channel = color

channel = red

channel = green

channel = blue


I attached an example of a lib.lib file that is from a console that I use.

I've been doing some reading and will be in with my rig tomorrow. A friend gave me his file for the 260s (from his Hog 3; hopefully they can play nice tomorrow despite their differences) and then the generic 36 chinese pars im hoping the onboard RGB+Dim takes care of that (i can't see why not really) but I do appreciate all your help. Sure its a lot to take in, its overwhelming at first, and then a breeze after that. like anything else :) thanks again, I'll let you know what works!

Hey Rosie,

Just to let you know... Hog 3 and Hog 2 are not backwards compatible. The programming for personalities are not similar.
