Since the show files are comparable between hog3 and hog 4 will i still be able to use my hog3 wings running hog4 pc? Will I be able to load the hog 4 os on any of the current hog 3 products? Is there finally a hog 4 I phone or iPad app?
Yes, all your older wings, widgets, and DP-8000s will work with Hog-4. Yes, there will be a way to directly load a Hog-4 show back onto a Hog-3. No Hog-4 will not run on any of the Hog-3 desks. There will be some sort of trade-in program for the Hog-3 desks.....ask your sales-rep for specifics. Yes, Touch OSC is now implemented directly on the Hog-4 desks, so you can control w/ iPad, iPhone, Android directly with a wireless connection to the console.
Good to know :) Is there a download link for Hog4PC, or has it not been released yet? Going out on a show next week with my laptop and some wings, and would love to give the new software a run.
